Mad God – Reborn

A realm populated by mortals, where demigods and gods were beings of fables and legends only. Until a particular, unforgettable day... This peaceful and mundane world underwent an irreversible change, giving rise not only to cultivators but also to new life forms: demons. Creatures rose up as animals and plants transformed, gaining intelligence, and the world itself changed forever, never to return to its mundane form.

Of course, this came with a price. The death of one of the realm's Gods... by the hand of the others. But the change he brought is not something that can be stopped... not even by them.

Just then, when people had already forgotten what it was like before, after two thousand years, the one behind this cataclysmic event is finally reborn into a new family, a fresh body, and with a forever changed soul. And with the unexpected news that his new identity is that of a famous general's daughter in a vast empire. This... may cause some unexpected hurdles along the way...

But what else would make it more fun to reach back to the top if not a new challenge in a new... changed world?

Mad God was my first English novel. I started writing it the end of 2020 and throughout 2021 and 2022, before I even found SH and ported everything over after its completion from WN. It was here that it gained traction; it is here that I met all of you and built a loyal following. Which I am extremely thankful for!

So... As my first work, with evident flaws, I decided it needs a redo. Not a big one, mind you. Just applying the skills I picked up throughout the years and refining them to make it flow better. That is what you see here. I am still working on it, meaning this rewrite, to make the story read even better. Do not expect significant changes to the story; just some tweaks here and there, and possibly some extra chapters where I feel like expanding on it. However, if you read the original Mad God, you already know the story.
